As a radio producer for The World, I pitch, book, produce and edit interviews across a wide range of global topics — from memoirs by former prime ministers to aid workers reporting alleged war crimes in Sudan. My work involves deep research, rigorous fact-checking and writing and refining interview scripts, while also coordinating with guests and newsroom teams across vastly different time zones and conditions. At its core, my role is about building trust with sources and navigating cultural, language and technical barriers to bring listeners the clearest and most immediate voices behind international news stories.
